We stayed here once before and found it to be first rate accommodation and that is still the case. Again a fresh slice was left ready for us on arrival. It was very well fitted out with everything one would need, including a two plate gas cooktop, dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge area had a dining table, lounge and two lounge chairs. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was very comfortable with loads of room. The bedroom was separate and the room furnished to fit the building. A modern design bathroom was spacious and top rate. No WiFi supplied so we used our mobile phone hotspots.
No other place in Gulgong surpasses the historic beauty and remembrance as this place The Old Telegraph Station as brought back to life to serve a very full functioning building with a modern worthy purpose. Staying in Gulgong this is your accommodation, look no further. The booking is easy. The insides are like new from day one with a touch of warmth in every way. Close to the Main street, supermarket, coffee shops etc..post office adjacent, & pubs! On site parking. The booking & serviceable staff are very friendly with lots of knowledge about the Gulgong, Mudgee & Central West, NSW Area. If your coming into the country for the first time and heading west somewhere look no further. Remember this town was a Gold town many years ago and even made it on the AU$10-00 note. A visit to the hill Lookout is a must.
L recommend this place for over night accommodation or longer great wifi good accommodation l would always go back to stay here when passing there way so do go there for accommodation good family and on your own
